ABOUT KREWE OF ST. CATHERINE:

The Krewe of St. Catherine was founded in 2023.

It was born out of a passion for Hattiesburg.

St. Catherine was chosen for the numerous symbolic representations she embodies, most prominently the wheel, as well as for her patronage of key groups such as scholars, crafters, potters, girls, educators, and lawyers.

Mission Statement

Through the eyes of Saint Catherine, protection and favor fall upon lawyers, librarians, students, philosophers, crafters, and wheel makers. Her krewe of patrons stroll in her earthly honor to parade missions of culture, community, truth, and jubilation. Inclusive membership is open to any patron of like causes. Through this body, we will elevate and celebrate the eccentric and eclectic culture of Hattiesburg.
